Art journal: A Traveler’s Junkbook in one sitting

Hello, wonderfuls!

I’ve been noodling away in one of my Traveler’s Junkbooks, and recording the process. The result is a video of how I completed one in one sitting.

It was fun to get completely absorbed in the process of making this journal, and really think about the ideas I was trying to explore.

I love watching other art journalers at work, and seeing how different we all are. I hope this little glimpse at my process is interesting for you! Here are some stills for the finished book:

I used: pages from Cereal magazine || Glossy Accents || Tim Holtz scissors || white gesso || Staedtler pigment liner || watercolour paper || acrylic paint in Naples Yellow || small light blue tag || Windsor and Newton half pans of watercolour (you can buy these individually from your art store, or in a set) || Dr. Ph Martin’s white ink || my Tiny Attacher with gold staples || Fiskar’s paper trimmer

See you soon! xxx
