A pocket letter for Diane

Hello, my dears!

I am really starting to get into this whole pocket letter thing. I’ve made a few now, for various friends, and I think this might be my favourite one yet.

I made it for my beautiful friend and crafty twin Diane who has an awesome YouTube channel is called ‘Dearly Dee‘.

I love all the shades of blue in there, as well as the subtly different textures that the vellum, doily, organza and sequins create.

Here’s how it came together:

I used: Pukka ‘Night Time’ tea || bits and pieces from various Scarlet Lime, and Felicity Jane kits || sequins from Lucy’s Cards || ephemera from the ‘Hazelwood’ collection by 1 Canoe 2 || white organza bag with ribbon drawstring || Maggie Holmes ‘Chasing Dreams’ sticker sheet and chipboard || acrylic shapes from Elle’s Studio || lace trim from The Freckled Fawn || paper #4 from the ‘Moonstruck’ collection by Pink Paislee || Ranger Wonder tape in 1/8 inch width || Papercraft double sided tape || MT washi tape pale blue + others || acetate specialty sheet from the Crate Paper ‘Wonder’ collection

See you soon!

P.S. If you want to see the traveler’s notebook layout that Diane made using the bits from this letter, you can find it here.
