Hello, darling ones!
I’m popping onto the blog today to share a mini tag book I made for my awesome mother-out-law.
She had us to stay for two weeks over christmas, and it was just the best time. We felt so looked after, and we just enjoyed spending time with her so much. I had a bunch of fun photos from the trip, so I decided to make them into a little keepsake that she could have to remember the summer.
I think mini books make great thank you gifts. They’re more substantial than a card, and more personal than flowers. You can really put the time in, and show the recipient how much they mean to you. Plus, they’re compact, so they can be tucked into a drawer, or some other safe nook, and discovered intermittently to remind their owner that they’re loved.
Here’s a look at the one I made for Ros:
I made a process video as I worked, so If you’d like to see how it was put together, go ahead and watch:
I used: bits and pieces from a Citrus Twist kit || papers and die cuts from Cocoa Vanilla’s ‘Love Always’ collection || paper from Maggie Homes’ ‘Bloom’ collection || paper from Felicity Jane ‘Sophie‘ kit || Papercraft double-sided tape ||
