Hello, my sweets!

It’s time for another Crafty Twins mood board challenge. This time it was my turn to make the board:

I ended up making two layouts for this one because I managed to forget to press record for the video of the first one. What a twit!

For my second go I used a photo of Arty and his cousin Annabelle. They are such adorable kids, and I love the photo so much. I printed it out on my HP Sprocket, which for some reason made the print kind of yellowish. I’m not sure how or why but I decided to just roll with it.

It was fun to use some blacks and dark greys in this layout. I think they marry really nicely with the corals and aquas, and it’s a colour combination I probably wouldn’t have tried if not for the mood board. So it did it’s job!

Here’s the process video:

I used: 6×8 paper pad and 6×12 chipboard from Simple Stories ‘Beautiful’ collection || die cut embellishments from My Mind’s Eye ‘In Bloom’ collection || Heidi Swapp Color Shine in ‘seafoam‘ and ‘blush‘ || embellishments from Kaisercraft ‘Daydreamer’ collection || Ali Edwards’ summer die cut embellishment pack || Glossy Accents || puffy stickers and stamp from Felicity Jane || HP Sprocket portable photo printer

Make sure you check out Dee’s amazing video, and join in the fun with your own layout if you want to!

See you soon! xxx
