Journal with me #1: Chamomile, roses and me

Hello, my sweetest peeps,

Do you keep a journal? I’ve never been very good at writing daily reportage type journaling, but I do like to keep a bit of a log of the things that I’m thinking, liking, and doing. Sometimes it’s quotes, or little letters to myself. Sometimes it’s photos of my cat (because have you SEEN my beautiful cat?).

I do this in a traveler’s notebook, because this stops me being too precious about how it looks, and I carry that notebook around with me in my handbag, along with some journaling supplies. Then whenever I’ve got something to write about, or I just feel the need to make something, it’s right there.

I’ll be doing a video soon about the different notebooks I use and what each one is for, but for now I just wanted to set the scene for what goes on in this particular one.

In the video, I talk a bit about what I’m trying to say to myself in these pages. About how it’s okay to like yourself, no matter what you’ve always been told.

If you’d like to hear my thoughts on that, as well as see how I journal, go ahead and watch:

I used: ‘Grey Area‘ alpha stickers from Studio Calico || pink alpha stickers from Studio Calico (no longer available) || my HP Sprocket portable photo printer || craft tweezers from EK Tools ||washi, tags, and paper from my stash

My notebook is this one by Felicity Jane, and I’m currently keeping them in a Zinnydori in the colour ‘Tender Kiss’.

I hope you enjoyed this somewhat chattier video, and the more relaxed process that goes into this particular journal. I really like it, and I’m definitely going to share more of these pages.

See you soon! xxx
