December is looming, with so much to look forward to, and I’m getting myself ready for my favourite memory keeping project of the year!

This year I have beem making some big changes to how I approach memory keeping, with the aim of making it a little more environmentally sustainable.

One of the biggest changes I’ve made has been to switch from pocket scrapbooking and start creating handmade albums with no plastic pages. I have been doing that in my everyday memory keeping, and loving the results, so it makes sense to do the same with December Daily!

I’ve used big binder rings because I love my fat, chunky December Daily albums, and want to give myself lots of space to cram as much happiness in there as possible. And I went with three rings instead of two so I’d have a bit more flexibility around the size and placement of pages inside.

I don’t to foundation pages, but I think I’ll be making one or two little bits and pieces in advance like I did last year.

I used some very precious fabric from the forever beautiful and never forgotten Rosalie Dekker. I could never have used it on anything less special.
