I was really excited when I saw that the October prompt was all about connecting with our words through music. Music is really important to me, and I often find myself connecting to certain songs or lyrics really deeply.
But for some reason I found it quite hard to connect my word ‘focus’ with many songs that I knew.
I wrestled with it for a while before deciding to make some of them about being focussed and determined, and others about what it’s important for me to focus on. Loving the people I love as hard as I can, being a good and kind person, doing my work and doing it well.
After I made that connection, it all came a little easier.
