Hello, you lovely darlings!

I’m here with week 16 in my Pocket Pages album today.

It’s autumn here in Melbourne, so I’m finally getting to use some of the many “fall” themed cards that I got in kits way back in October/November last year. Even though I’m generally into lighter colours, I’m loving these richer tones and leaf motifs.

It was fun to mix up a whole bunch of kits, and use up bits from older ones that I’d had lying around for a while.

I ended up with quite a lot of dimension on this page, thanks to those rubber pieces from Felicity Jane, and lots of chipboard embellishments from Gossamer Blue kits and Ali Edwards.

Having a few 4×6 photos that I didn’t want to cut down meant that I opted for a little insert using a couple of photos that I adhered back to back. I love having these little out-of-the-pocket extras scattered throughout my albums, and I end up making them quite regularly.

When I make inserts like this, I like to include a tab or some trim (in this case I used both), to encourage the person looking through the album to reach out and interact with that particular element.

Here’s the process video, with detailed chit chat about how I made the page:

I used: Bits and pieces from various Felicity Jane, Gossamer Blue, Citrus Twist, and Ali Edwards Story kits || DMC cebelia cotton #20 in white || Felicity Jane ‘Daily’ stamp set || Ali Edwards ‘Day of the Week’ roller stamp || tacky craft glue || Stazon ink in ‘Jet Black’ || Papercraft double sided tape

See you soon!
