Pocket pages ’17: Week 20

Hello, sweethearts!

I can’t believe we’re up to week 20, and approaching the midpoint of the year. Time is tearing by, and I’m gladder than ever to be recording all the special moments and details of our lives.

After several weeks of experimenting, and trying new things, I decided to go back to my favourite colours this week. It’s pale pink and yellow, with lacy details, and sparkly sequins. Playing with these pretty things was really lovely.

Speaking of pretty things, I have to give an extra shout out to Lucy’s Cards, who make the most beautiful sequin mixes in the whole wide world. I am completely obsessed with them.

I used Felicity Jane papers pretty heavily in this layout, and I never stop being impressed and delighted by how well their kits mix and match with each other, and how beautiful the papers and embellishments always are. Love.

Here’s the process video:

I used: Bits and pieces from various Ali EdwardsFelicity Jane and Gossamer Blue kits || Lucy’s Cards sequin mix in ‘Vintage Chic’ || my Tiny Attacher with gold staples || mt pink washi tape || white foam words from Freckled Fawn (the linked sticker set is similar but not identical – the ones I used are old and have sold out)

Lovely! Of course now I’m checking out these sequin mixes… they’re so pretty! I’m definitely going to order some, but how will I choose!?
