I’m here with week 21 in my pocket pages album.
I absolutely love the way this one turned out. It’s colourful, but soft at the same time – a combination of factors that always makes me happy.
I loved using cards and papers from my stash, and matching them with those Gossamer Blue chipboard embellishments. They way they matched each other was so satisfying. There’s something kind of magical about taking elements from different designers and kits and getting them to work together.
It was also fun to take a card that was clearly designed to be journaled on and put stickers on it instead. That’s about as rebellious as I get in my life, so I’ll take that renegade feeling where I can – hee hee.
I absolutely love this photo of my friends Robin & Siobhan. They are such excellent humans, and they love each other so dearly. For that reason, I didn’t want to cut this photo down to two 3×4 cards. Instead I went for a 3b page protecter with 4×6 pockets in it. That had the added onus of giving me the opportunity to use one a 4×6 paper as well, which I hardly ever get to do.
Here’s the process video:
I used: bits and pieces from various Gossamer Blue, Felicity Jane, and Citrus Twist kits || 3b page protectors from Studio Calico || coffee cup puffy stickers from Freckled Fawn || ‘Read‘ and basic grey journal cards from Elle’s Studio || black stazon ink || thin washi from Freckled Fawn || Ali Edwards One Little Word roller stamp || paper from Maggie Holmes’ ‘Bloom’ 6×6 paper pad
See you soon!
