Pocket pages ’17: Week 30

Hello loves!

Here is week 30 in my pocket pages album.

This is my first pocket pages spread made as part of my role on the Citrus Twist design team, and I had so much fun with the challenge of using a single kit to make a whole layout! As you can see, all the bits and pieces are lovely, so it was easy as could be.

You guys know I have a comparatively minimal style when it comes to memory keeping, but I loved those beautiful papers so much that I really wanted to use a whole lot of them at once (I was totally overexcited!). My way around that was to use my Silhouette Cameo to create a 4×6 card out of white cardstock with white heart shapes cut out of it. Then I stuck three of the papers behind them, and they showed through, allowing me to use three different papers on one card while keeping it light. I even got to use one of the cut-out heart pieces on another card!

Here’s the process video:

I used: Citrus Twist Pocket Life Kit (October 2017, with a couple of little bits from September’s kit too) || Silhouette Cameo || Tiny Attacher with gold staples || Memento stamping ink in Lulu Lavender || Bazzil marshmallow cardstock
