I’m switching up the nomenclature for my pocket memory keeping, because it’s not just PL anymore. In fact, I hardly use any PL products these days, opting for a variety of different designers instead, and I love it.
The whole point of pocket memory keeping is that it’s flexible and easy, so I’m reflecting that in how I talk about it here.
I also want to get back into being a bit more consistent in sharing the products I use. If you see something and like it, chances are I’ll have linked to it at the end of the post.
And now, here’s a look at some family memories for January:
I’m loving my layered title page. Texture always adds interest, and doilies are the prettiest kind of texture you can get, IMO.
I absolutely *love* writing directly onto photos. Printing them at home on matte paper makes that really easy. I just use the same fineliner I use for journalling.
Still obsessed with sequins. I don’t see that changing, ever…
Stitching onto paper is something I’ve tried in my art journal, but not done much of in my memory keeping. It’s fun, though, and I love the effect.
I generally keep Arty’s artworks in yearly folios (except for the ones that end up on the wall), but sometimes I include some in the scrapbook. I like the variety it adds, and I love that Arty gets to see his work take pride of place in the family albums.
I must remember to include more recipes in the scrapbooks too – it makes them even more time-capsule-y.
And that’s it! Yay!
