It feels really good to be sharing some of my project life album again. It’s taken a bit of a back seat to things like 30 Lists, Week In The Life, mini albums and other creative experiments. The break’s been good because it’s meant that I’ve come back to it with renewed enthusiasm.

I think you have to do that with ongoing and long term projects from time to time – just give yourself permission to take some space from them, and trust that when you come back to them it will have been worth it.

Here are some of my favourite bits of June…

mama finch project life june 2015 08This was a fun experiment – kind of… quilting with paper? I loved that photo but had a 6×8 page free, so decided to experiment with filling in the difference. I think I like it? It was a good way to use up some tiny bits of some of my fave papers!

mama finch project life june 2015 11I love this little card that I made for recording a funny tweet. I think I’ll be using it again. Possibly a lot.

I am definitely loving the monthly approach. It’s way more flexible than weekly spreads, and the less regimented feel is working for me.

Now to get on with documenting July… and August… and September.

Whee!
