I got a little stuck with this month because my page protectors and album did not fit each other. I had a 4 ring binder and 6 ring protectors, and their refusal to work together was all very frustrating for a girl who is so close to the finish line for the year! (I know, I know, first world problems…)
I popped into my local craft store to try and find what I needed, but they had no 6×8 albums nor page protectors at all. Eek!
Rather than despair, I decided that in order to get the job done I would just go with what was available. This turned out to be a sparkly gold 8×8 album.
And I inadvertently found myself a new life motto: if you’re going to settle, let it be for something that sparkles.
I brought that album home and got stuck right in.
You can see our family christmas card there, which I’ve hole-punched to include in the spread.
In spite of it harking back to the days of using Design K and having square pocket pages, this format was a bigger brain-leap than I’d anticipated. As a result, I’m not sure I’m 100% delighted with the way every page has turned out. But it was a fun challenge, and November is scrapped. Just December to go!
