Week 18 is black, white, kraft and gold, just like I was going to go with from the beginning of the year (and largely didn’t). I should learn never to make sweeping statements about ongoing projects – they never stick!
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my brother was missing in Nepal for a short time after the earthquake. This was the week he arrived home, so our reunion had to be documented.
Arty adores his kinder teacher, Gayle. I wanted to include her in our album so he’ll remember her when he’s older, and his kinder years may have faded from his memory.
It’s important to record those #POTY moments…
I used: Kraft label stickers, and puffy gold alphas from Seven Paper | Gold Dot on Kraft paper from American Crafts | Gold spiral paper clips from Kikki K | Lots of awesome stamps from Kellie Stamps | Wood veneer heart and arrow from Studio Calico | ‘A’ tag from Bespoke Letterpress
This will, I think, be my last 12×12 spread for 2015. I’m making the shift to 6×8, and a looser monthly structure, in the hope that it will suit me better. Stay tuned!
