You haven’t missed weeks one to three. I’m just selectively blogging my 12×12 album this year, and I wanted to start here.
I take a lot of photos, and generally have to cull and cram to get everything I want to include into one spread. But this week I only had a few (largely because it was the week of Arty’s 3rd birthday, and I recorded a lot of that in other ways, including a mini album and an insert).
It was really nice to have some more free space to work with. It confirmed something I’ve suspected for a while: using fewer photos makes the ones you do include really stand out.
I find weekly photo selection to be an ordeal, so I doubt this will mean that I use fewer photos in future, but I will try a little harder to give them some space to breathe when I can bear to.
