Essie Ruth

The Cosmo Cricket WIP Book

So I have this lovely thing to show you. It’s a thing that memory keepers, scrappers, and other paper nerds are going *love*.

It’s Cosmo Cricket’s new WIP Book!

The gloriously crafty and extremely rad peeps at Spotlight gave me one to test drive, and I kind of adore it.

I made an unboxing-type video so you can have a close look at all the different elements. Here’s what they look like:

I have had so much fun using my watercolour paints to make these bits and pieces my own. I am so impressed by how customisable they are, and how simple they make it to keep all your important bits and pieces both together in one place AND looking pretty.

Here’s a very quick look at how I customised one of the cards from the Art Deck.

You can see how very easy these guys are to use, and how colourful and artistic the results can be.

I, of course, embellished mine with loads of pink and yellow. Now every time I open the sleek black folder I see bright bursts of my favourite colours, and feel happy. Oh, and I couldn’t resist sticking a strip of lace along the inside cover to add another element of Essie-ness to the whole set up.

My notes and doodles have never looked prettier.

Oh I missed this post! I bought one last week and haven’t had a chance to dive in yet, but I love it. I’d been trying to resist the travelers notebook but when I spotted these I caved (surprise surprise). Yours looks so pretty.

Just wondering, are the journals replaceable, or would they fit other notebooks? Worried that I might use it all up and then not be able to find another to fit. I couldn’t see any on the Spotlight site.
