Traveler’s notebook: Tiny dancer

Hi my loves!

I’ve got a traveler’s notebook layout to share with you today.

It’s one that ended up turning out WAY different to how I’d visualised it in my head.

I was going to go for a softer, more dreamy look, and I think the pastel stars, thread, and doily definitely give a bit of that feel, but the washi I ended up going for had much stronger colours than I was originally intending to use.

That’s left me feeling a little ambivalent about the finished product, but that’s ok. I’m doing a lot of experimentation in my memory keeping at the moment, and it’s sometimes resulting in things I’m not sure about, but that’s completely outweighed by how much I’m learning.

Here’s the process video so you can see this thing come together:

I used: Fujifilm Instax Share SP2 smartphone printer and film || Heidi Swapp Color Shine in ‘Seafoam‘ || enamel dots from the ‘Free Spirit’ collection by Cocoa Vanilla || Semco Matte Acrylic paint in ‘lavender‘ || lavender vellum alphas from Freckled Fawn || ‘love‘ washi strips from Freckled Fawn || puffy star stickers from Freckled Fawn
