‘A Gay Bouquet’
A zine about flowers that have significance in LGBTQIA+ culture and history.

A one-page, full colour zine featuring artworks that were originally made using salvaged brown paper, painted with gouache, then hand cut with a scalpel.
The text was hand written on more brown paper, and explains the meaning that these flowers have come to hold in LGBTQIA+ communities.
After folding, the spine of each zine is hand sewn with coloured embroidery floss, so you know there’s a little Essie Ruth love stitched into each copy.
